The American Revolutionary War And Defeat Great Britain

The American Revolution, one of the most historical events in its time period and now. We as Americans represent this event in celebrating Independence Day. On July 4th of every year Americans celebrate the departure and independence we obtained from Great Britain. It was the British who controlled and basically owned the Thirteen Colonies of North America in which we now know as the United States. Making the lives of American citizens miserable and unable to bare the bondage from the rules, regulations, and tariffs brought on by the British could no longer be tolerated. If all men were to be created equal the Americans wanted just that and that meant having their own control. In order to break away from the bondage Great Britain had on the colonist was to start a war and defeat Great Britain. A very imperative factor in today’s American history which changed the lives of citizens whom lived during and after a significant time period. The American Revolution also known as the American Revolutionary War and the U.S. War of Independence which took place during 1775-1783 is the event that is being referred to. Many things occurred and were established during the American Revolution such as the Battle of Lexington and Concord, the Boston Tea Party, the Treaty of Paris, and more. The opposition of the colonist of Thirteen Colonies and Great Britain started the feud between the two which resulting in the American Revolution.
